Aaron was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. In 1997, he married his junior high sweetheart, Lisa, and together they graduated from Dallas Baptist University—with their first child in their arms! The Fugere family returned to Oregon, where Aaron earned his master’s degree, before spending two adventurous years in rural Alaska.
Since 2004, they have called Oregon home again. For over two decades, Aaron and Lisa have been deeply involved in foster care and adoption in their county. They are grateful parents to seven children and hold a special heart for kids with special needs.
Over the past three decades, the Fugeres have served faithfully in various churches through youth ministry, worship team, deacon service, and teaching. They have been richly blessed by The Bridge Church family and its ministry leaders. Aaron is humbled to serve as an elder, helping shepherd this flock with a commitment to biblical truth and loving God’s people.
